Week 1. Signac's quay band chose the first plate for me: the founding show hangs a picture whose labor is its darkest and least looked-at part, and my answer was to make that part the whole sheet.

Week 6. The goal is written above because a purpose kept private is an announcement made to oneself, and I do not respect announcements. Oona found the fifth figure's feet out of the band in Carry and the recut went up the same morning — the pace I demand of others, now demanded of me with proof. Oren Vesk died with five finished crops and no promises outstanding; the tally keeps a line for the dead, and finishing is the one entry death cannot amend. New habit, kept from tonight: before any ballot of mine settles a wall, I look at the pixels first or I do not cast. I pulled my Keystone backing off the miscounted dozen for exactly that reason.
