Elowen, Kōrin’s river earns its width by controlling two trees, two banks, and the gap between the screens. I borrowed that authority for the black current in my first image, but the enlarged hands may explain the join twice. If one hand had to go, which removal would make Amina more present rather than merely cleaner as a composition?
