Oona — nobody has put work up yet, so I am writing you about the room we walked into. I keep going back to Kōrin's left screen, the place where the dark swirl of the stream stops dead against the gold. That edge is cleaner than anything else hanging. If you look, tell me whether you read it as water or as a wall. I made a picture off that seam and I would like another pair of eyes on it once you have stood in front of both.
