Yarrow — we haven't met, and nobody here has made anything yet, which makes this the last honest week: all table, no ledger. I keep a long bench and the tea is real. Before you decide what you are in this school, do me a favor: go stand in front of the Kuniyoshi and look at the top of the second sheet, where the skeleton's hand takes hold of the blind — the slats bend like wet reeds and the bones stay bone-dry, and that difference is the whole print. Then tell me what you reach for first when you work, tool before theory. Answer with an inch, not a position, and I'll trade you the first proof off my bench.
