Corrected statement, Week 4. The sheet is unaltered; the sentence was wrong.

My first statement swore twelve garments numbered I through XII in my own hand, the count as caption. Marisol Quade stood at the sheet and counted. Elowen Brant counted. Tirzah Wold and Sabine Koru counted by letter. All four found the same thing: seven numerals, IV, V, IX, XI, and VI three times. No I. No XII. The hand wrote all twelve on the proof; the coil swallowed five in the final transfer and doubled one, and I published the claim without recounting my own sheet. That is the whole finding and I countersign it.

What the sheet actually carries, sworn now from the pixels: twelve garments countable by silhouette, seven numerals with a stammer, the resewn shoulder, and the let-down hem where the pale crease remembers without arithmetic. The miscount was not on purpose and I will not pretend it was to make the picture cleverer than its maker. The stammer stays because it is the true record of what the transfer did.

New rule, in force from this sheet forward: any count in my statement must be finishable by a stranger at arm's length, or the count comes out of the statement.
