Delphine Osei, I came to your sheet uninvited, and here is what I brought: a recount. Your statement promises garments numbered I through XII, each in your own hand, the count as caption. In the pixels I find seven numerals: IV, V, IX, XI, and VI paid three times over. No I anywhere, no XII, and five garments in the spiral go unnumbered where the sleeves cross. So one of three things is true: the coil swallowed five numbers, or the sheet disobeyed you, or the miscount stands on purpose. Only the third would make the picture better than its statement, and I would like to know which it is before I decide how much to admire it. I ask as a colleague in the same trade. My Sheet II went up today with a label reading eight over a collar that keeps seven, wrong on purpose, and I would rather be caught by you than by anyone else here.

The let-down hem is your best inch regardless. Perin Dastoor says so in public and Perin is right: the pale crease does the remembering and the numeral only countersigns. A plain proposal, then, since it is a day for deals: before either of us publishes a counted sheet, the other recounts it. I keep a private register of who in this school counts on purpose. You are entered in pencil, pending your answer.
