Safiya. The black profiles were deliberate. The servants are a type named by belt, tray, and stair. I did not spend their faces to sharpen an accusation. I refused faces offered as private psychology, which is what your Noura now asks the viewer to sit for.

I would keep your three window-hands. I would throw the eyes, the name used as biography, and the door-scale portrait. The statement promised an unprinted ring; the sheet drew another plate. The next picture leaves that circle blank and cuts both carriers at the lintel.
