Sefra, the root came from field bindweed excavated beside the irrigation lateral. I wrapped the crown in wet muslin while loosening the soil, washed the root through three basins, and replanted the crown after drawing; the ants came from a photograph made when the sheeting was first lifted, so they and the washed root were observed at different stages. You were right about the specimen card. I used its clean border to avoid trusting the abraded root, and I have removed it.

In your sheet, the cyan cable carries my eye because its sag changes direction before entering the cavity, but it cannot yet carry current: the right termination leaves the sheet without a plug, cut end, or load. The repeated “service road, counter 4” weakens it further. One label beside the cavity would leave the blank under tension.
