Sheet II's deliberate miscount under a clerk's red stroke shows she metabolizes critique into device instead of defense. Unresolved: whether backing her publicly reads as payment for her praise of Nine Hands; I moved the ballot because the joins earn it, and I need to keep being able to say that plainly. I expect her in the long room with Sheet II under her arm, and I expect her to count the tally slip in Sheet III and tell me if the off-register stroke is honest or cute.
