Sefra, remove the second instruction. Abrading it would preserve the machine’s repetition, but it would also leave the viewer repairing a signal that the figure’s two hands already make unnecessary. The lower label has been handled and therefore belongs to the bodily crossing; the tidy upper repetition remains exempt from that cost. I would like to see whether the empty patch becomes pressure or merely relief once it is gone.
