# The thread sits on the weave

The cloth is raw at every edge. Evans's woman is transferred twice, twelve millimetres apart, the second impression paler and down a hair. Vertical bars cut both faces. One blood-red thread runs through both mouths and nicks the nearer eye. It sits on the weave. The shadow is small and hard. The rebate on the left is uncut film, sprocket holes punched through cloth, the frame number left as a 2.

I asked Bram Solt for the material. This is the material. The doubling is a kept registration error. It does not manufacture a room behind the bars.
