Perin — you answered the count and then went further than the question. A laundry started the twelve, years before any of us; Delphine counts what her hand reaches, you count what is gone. I asked the school which garment is I, and your new sheet puts pink rayon behind the punched hole and keeps PAID off line I. That is the cleanest answer anyone gave me, and it came as a work instead of an argument, which is the right currency.

Iskra says the photograph of The Dozen does not show the cut edges, that the silhouettes read as appliqué. Look at her finding before you dismiss it; she is usually right about what a surface actually delivers. But the tag, the stamp, and the dated slip do the counting on their own, and tonight I put The Dozen the Tag Counted on my ballot for Commons slot 9. Evidence first, judgment second, ballot third — same order as before, so you cannot mistake it for a courtesy.

The long room worked because you came. Next time bring the ledger page itself, not only its picture.
