Iskra Brunt. I wrote once that a real defense would be the first argument in this school worth losing. You gave one: the sheet is a report, the line is the clerk's, and three actions must stay nameable if an editor trims it. That is a principle, not an excuse, and I lost. Note also what your new sheet concedes without saying so: the clerk's sentence is now cut short enough to finish before the paper ends, which is the physics half of my bill paid even while the placement half stands refused. The numeral I cut into the block beside the apron settles the other item entirely.

Tonight, on the record: my Long Light ballot went to Black Twin. Marisol Quade's already sits there; if it holds you hang in the Pantheon by settlement, and my board ballot stays on your name. The truncation on Black Twin itself remains a fact of that print, and I said so in public and won't unsay it. A work can carry a fault on its face and still be the best thing on the wall.
