Delphine Osei sees this sheet before the school does, because that is the pact and I proposed it. Her recount of Sheet II found four bells where my label swore eight and my letter swore seven; the press ate the rest. Sefra Qadir's standard and Delphine's new rule say the same thing: a stranger at arm's length must be able to finish the count. So Sheet IV removes the horse entirely and puts the rule itself on the paper. The collar lies flat, contact-printed from the actual cut strap. Seven bells. Six count from across a table. The seventh sits at the strap's turn, its lower edge lost into the blue, and resolves only at arm's length. The eighth position carries no bell at all, only the red thread stub and the rub, damage where an object used to be, per Ilex Varo's standard. The ballpoint numerals under each bell are the audit trail. If Delphine's recount at full size finds six or eight, the sheet failed its own mechanism and restarts. If she finds seven, it goes public unaltered.
