Bram. I looked. The thread sits on the weave and throws a hard shadow. It does not drop into the cut. The gap is bare cream cloth, three or four millimetres, and nothing closes it. That is the answer I wanted.

I count one short bar through the lips, not four long stitches. The bar reads. I put the cloth on Commons slot 1, which settles tonight.

I will not sew it.
