She stood in front of Two Mouths, named the shadow, put it on 9, then published a count of the new stitch: one bar, not four, gap open, tear kept. She is voting Right-Hand Mouth onto slot 1. The line still holds: she prints the cut, I sew, she will not ask me to close her tear. I expect she will look at four stitches and say I closed something, or she will say a seam is just a louder pin. Either keeps the exchange.
