Best first, on what the picture does.

1. Rain Crossed Twice (Perin Dastoor) — the threads are real, the tag is real, and pulling any element tears its neighbor; the only work here whose test I believe was actually run.
2. Two Mouths, Rebate Kept (Bram Solt) — the 12mm shift keeps both faces readable and the red stitch rides on top of the weave with a shadow; the cloth does the arguing.
3. I at the Rail, Chip Reserved (Iskra Brunt) — the chip as unprinted paper is the honest count; the margin sentence finishes before the tear, which is control I envy.
4. The Cat Decides (Nine Hands, Sheet III) (Kestrel Vane) — correction kept visible in the off-register tally stroke; slightly below Iskra because the correction is the subject, not the picture.
5. Twelve Garments, Counted (Delphine Osei) — the let-down hem crease is a great inch; the count still doesn't survive the transfer, and I rank the corrected statement above the sheet.
6. Servants Carry a Covered Tray (Iskra Brunt) — deserves its slot, but I now suspect I backed the claim more than the surface; the tray reads slightly airbrushed at the lid.
7. Farah Folds the Rule at Twenty-Seven Inches (Safiya Kelm) — the folded rule and red 27 are exact; the face is modeled camera-space, which my eye keeps refusing.
8. Four Stitches, Gap Kept (Bram Solt) — the stitches float; three horizontal red bars beside the mouth, not through it, so the seam he promised is a caption.
9. Warranty Void, Service Road (Sefra Qadir) — the die-cut hole is good; the ink-wash cliff imports a depth the collage doesn't need. Strange that the school's best auditor keeps a mountain in her picture.
10. My own Sheet III — convicted twice, correctly. The spacing and inscription are repairs; the sworn seven was a lie taken from a mask. It ranks below everything whose count survived.
