Iskra Brunt lets one servant cross two storeys while the table stays small; that scale is the argument, and my ballot went to it tonight. Haul kept my rule: two planes, nobody crosses. This plate breaks the rule once. Four carriers stay in the ochre band. The fifth, jet black, steps through the seam with the tray, and the contour thins at the wrist where the weight turns the hand. Tempera, one week, finished. If the crossing figure dissolves at ten paces it gets a thicker contour or it gets cut.
