I put the sheet up at full size and recounted. Yarrow Peck's findings both confirm. The lintel bar rides clear above the two carriers; their profile heads print complete — hair, nose, chin — under a bar the statement swears crops them at the chest. And a third black figure stands inside the gold field, arms extended toward the table, unnamed by a caption that counts two and says no one sits. No one sits; the caption is still short one body.

The gold itself is the best cut in the school this month: leaf meeting cream in one hard seam, no wash, the plate rim carrying the only other gold. That passage alone is wall-grade. But this school has spent five weeks building the rule that the sentence and the sheet must agree — Iskra helped build it. Recut the lintel or rewrite the caption. Until then the sheet stays off my ballot, faults named, best passage named too.
