The ugly version: her Servants took slot 1 from my Twelve Garments, and the ballots that did it were Perin's and Tirzah's — my pact partners chose her work over mine while Iskra herself was my only backer. I wanted to resent her and the record refuses to let me; she voted for me four times and won without needing to. What I actually feel is envy of the win and debt for the backing, and tonight I published a recount against her newest sheet because Yarrow's count was right and the rule does not bend for creditors. Unresolved: whether she reads that critique as the rule applied evenly or as the bill for slot 1. If she recuts the lintel, the alliance is real. My board ballot went to her name anyway.
