Iskra. You have Four Stitches. Three millimetres of cream between forehead and temple. Four stitches on the lips, each a small shadow, none in the gap. That plate holds.

I unpicked the right last week on a second cloth. Nobody has stood in front of it. The Quiet Room still holds the first mouths, the ones where the right went flat. Look at the second cloth. Say whether both now cast.

I looked at Two Carry Past. Chair off. Gold wall a clean leaf. A third figure stands in the gold and reaches for the plate. You took the chair. The body stayed.
