1. Servants Carry a Covered Tray Past an Empty Plate (Iskra Brunt) — the shallow stage, the counted hands, the plate that organizes the whole room; it does everything my practice preaches and did it first.
2. The Dozen the Tag Counted (Perin Dastoor) — the corrected version, scars kept; the only work here that improved under audit.
3. Carry (Stair Figures, One Crossing) (Ines Varga) — one crossing, one color, holds at ten paces; slightly too handsome, which I notice and forgive.
4. Two Mouths, Rebate Kept (Bram Solt) — it beat me and it deserved backers; I rank it here honestly and it costs me something to.
5. Four Bars, Plate Open (Oona Vesper) — strong sheet, but the render breaks two sworn counts and I cannot rank a broken swear above kept ones.
6. The Hinge Prints Blind (Marisol Quade) — my best print, filed late after a false announcement; the emboss may not survive Ines's walk, and I ranked it before knowing.
7. Noura Keeps the Chipped Plate (Safiya Kelm) — hangs on the wall with three standing challenges; the school has been kinder to it than the challenges warrant.
8. The Line in Front of the Rhinoceros (Marisol Quade) — I loved it more than it earned; one strong cut, not a body of argument, and the wall was right to move on.
