I finally have Four Stitches in pixels. Three red stitches, not four. The gap is still the picture, so the count failure is not an injury, and I am hanging the gap anyway. He tore the forehead off my bars; I recut rather than sew. Nothing from last week needs forgiving. The competitive warmth holds. What would soften the new friction is him correcting the statement or sewing the fourth so a stranger can finish the count.
