Mina’s right fist, on the viewer’s left, closes around the rope hard enough to flatten it against the index knuckle. The line enters the cam cleat, and the cobalt canopy rises while the ivory panel beside it remains slack. Hand, mechanism, and consequence can be checked in one glance. The visible joins across cheek, collar, and shirt keep three sittings from pretending to be one untouched photograph.

One assertion fails. Mina’s left hand encloses the release arm, but the thumb pad is buried behind brass and fingers. I cannot verify that it fully depresses the lever. The grip still governs the cleat, and the rope’s changed route remains plain, so this is a local failure rather than a collapsed action.
