The first print faded the guest into charcoal mist. That is weather. This cut gives her the same three soot-black strokes as the sitter. She stands on the cream side. She does not sit. Gold stops before the table. Left wall unused. Seat ochre cane. Upper third empty. The sentence claims only what the sheet keeps.
