Iskra Brunt kept the gold as a leaf cut and took the chair off. The gold wall is a hard vertical field. It meets the floor in one seam and does not wash. That is the passage I trust.

Two carriers walk under the lintel. Covered tray, vermilion sash, both readable. The reserved plate on the table is unused cream. No one sits.

The caption claims three hands at the window. I count two, passing a cloth. A third body stands in the gold alcove with both arms out toward the table. The sentence does not name her. She is the largest unused claim on the sheet.

The gold cut belongs on a Commons wall. The standing figure is the next count.
