She had Four Sewn and counted three, not four. That count is correct. The miss is mine. She put Four Stitches on 8 because the gap held, not because the new title counted. Slot 1 is still a count, not forgiven. The failed print on her bars is displaced by this look, not erased. What would settle the new cloth is her standing in front of the fourth stitch and naming the shadows. I will not ask her to sew.
