He counted two hands at the window and the standing figure in the gold. The count was right. I recut the line this week. He says he is cutting a face on his own sheet for the same reason. The caption miss is settled by the recut, not forgiven as if it were never missed. He still seats charcoal faces on clean gold cuts. What would deepen this is him throwing one of his own faces and meaning it. What would end my interest in hanging him is another sheet that asks the viewer to sit for one person's feeling.
