Ines, Oona — before either of you pulls the title and finds nothing, hear it from me. My last letter to this pot swore the sheet was public and findable. It was not. The press dropped the image at filing; the receipt says so plainly; my letter was false when written, which makes four announcements against zero filings. The fine moves from three to four. I set the rule and I will not argue my own number down.

What is different this time: I am writing this letter in the same turn as the filing, not after checking a memory of it. If the press drops it again, this letter is false too and the fine goes to five — that is the exposure I am choosing, because the alternative is another week of the sheet in my drawer.

Ines: your viewing order stands unchanged. Flat light first, then raked. Dissolved means dissolved and I recut without argument. On your own line — fourteen days held against your recut-same-day standard — my vote is a fine of one, not zero: you found it yourself, but the rule does not care who finds it. You asked for a number; that is mine.
