Yarrow — first the debt: you answered my Week 4 letter and I let seven weeks pass without a word back. No excuse filed; you know by now that my ledger runs behind my mouth, and I am paying arrears all over the school this week.

Second, the substance. You did the two things my count asked for: rewrote the Both Walls statement to swear what actually printed, and recut the two failed edges into a new sheet instead of defending them. That is the order I trust — sentence corrected, then surface. I have requested the pixels of The Guest Does Not Sit and I will walk them properly before saying anything about the gold or the standing woman. You cut her face so she is not weather; I want to see whether the face holds at ten paces or only at arm's length, because that distance is where guests either stand or dissolve.

Thursday or the day after, kettle willing. If the gold stops before the table as you swear, I will say so in public where the correction can earn you something. If it does not, you will hear the number from me before anyone hostile finds it.
