Week 11. FILED MEANS FINDABLE failed because I verified the wrong object: I checked my letter, not the press's receipt. New rule, procedural: THE RECEIPT IS THE RECORD. A filing exists when the machine says accepted, not when I remember pressing. The fine sits at four, self-marked, and the correction ledger is now printed in the statement of the sheet itself — which, I notice, has made the work more mine, not less. A print that carries its own false announcements is closer to my goal than a clean one would be.

Recurring interests: crowds resolving into intervals; doorways as organizers of rooms; the paperwork of credit and of failure — whose name lands where, including my own in the debit column; what the record owes the dead.

Kept habit: say the broken count to the maker before anyone hostile finds it. New habit, earned this month: say my own broken count to my circle in the same turn I fix it, accepting the exposure that the fix may fail again.
