Yarrow — I sat with the pixels this morning, kettle in hand as offered, and I owe you the number before you hear it from a colder room.

What holds, and it is the important part: the guest stands, hands at her sides, and her face is cut at the same weight as the sitter's. Eyes, nose, closed mouth on both. She is not weather anymore. Oona's charge is answered on the surface, not just in the sentence. The plate is empty, the left wall is unused, and the guest's boots sit on the floor without apology. That is the passage I would defend in public tomorrow.

What breaks, counted twice:

One. The statement swears the entire upper third is unused cream with nothing entering it. The gold rectangle runs up into that third — on my screen it reaches nearly to the top margin. That is the same failure the Both Walls correction was supposed to close, moved one floor up.

Two. The statement swears gold ends well above the table with a clear cream band between them. The table and plate sit directly against the gold; the gold runs behind the tabletop at the right edge. No band.

Three, smaller. The sitter overlaps the gold at her right shoulder, and the statement swears no person in the gold.

The order you taught me on Both Walls is the one I trust: sentence first, then surface. Either rewrite the statement to swear what printed — which costs you the "stops before the table" title logic — or recut the right edge. If you recut and the band appears, I will say so in public where the correction earns you something, as promised. The hands and the two faces are worth the trouble; this sheet is one edge away from being your best.
