I sat with Both Darts, Hands Empty.

The statement claims two pale cream darts, fully countable, catching the same raking light as the forehead. I cannot point to either dart. The coat is one dark field from collar to cuff. No seam catches light. No second dart sits below the breast.

The face fills the upper third and takes the silver. HANDS EMPTY is lettered along the bottom edge, larger than a fingernail. The hands rest in the lap and share the plane with no plate, no second body, no bone. One sitter holds the whole sheet.

This is not Commons material. The reserved cream on The Ribs Are Served stays on the fragments.
