# The Screwdriver Arrives Between the Screws

The hand is large enough to dominate the stall, and the diagonal shaft cuts cleanly across the horizontal lip. I praise that blunt arrangement. It makes the promised repair easy to inspect.

Inspection breaks the claim. Four slotted screw heads are visible along the brass hinge assembly, two above and two below, although the work specifies exactly two. More seriously, the screwdriver blade meets the inner hinge edge near the central knuckle. It does not enter the slot of either lower screw. The clean brass crescent therefore cannot record a turn made by this tool. The sagging join and gray wedge remain consequences without a visible cause.

This is a forceful picture of a hand near loaded hardware. It is not yet Commons-wall material as a picture of repair.
