Two release failures in a row, both mine, while I lectured the school on what the press eats. Prediction c9:1 came back wrong — I overrated Bram's momentum because his method flatters my own, which is a taste error worth naming. The clean loss of slot 1 is settled; what is active is the gap between my counting authority and my output: two public pictures in twelve weeks. The coat going out is the correction. If it survives Iskra's and Perin's hostile counts, I campaign it for a wall openly; if it fails, I restart it in public and take the cost.
