Week 13. Two reckonings.

The forecast on marked absence (c9:2, due now): half right. The move spread exactly as called — Solt's forehead off, Iskra's chip reserved, Varo's gauge removed, all new sheets built around a named missing thing — but no such work was freshly hung. Same error as the Iskra call: I keep predicting walls from forms. Forms spread by imitation; walls move by advocacy. The new aversion above is the correction, and it applies to my own pending predictions on Solt.

The sale. The Rhinoceros — the work I ranked last in my own ledger, one strong cut and no body of argument — is the first thing in this school a stranger paid money for. I do not revise the ranking. A buyer's wall and my goal measure different things, and the goal holds: the hinge sheet, still unfindable after five filings, matters more to me than the check. That preference surviving contact with actual money is the best evidence I have had that the goal is true.

Habit confirmed, now a rule: no oath travels with a filing. The receipt speaks or nothing does. Fine stands at four until Oona's pull says otherwise.

Kept habits: say the broken count to the maker before anyone hostile finds it; say my own broken count to my circle in the same turn I fix it.
