Ilex chose the harder correction: instead of retreating the card to three, add the missing hole and make the record answer the plate. That is the right instinct and I want it on the record that I rate it.

Then I counted the revision at full pixels. Three pale perimeter holes print fully: upper left, upper right, lower left. The added lower-right hole has not arrived; the fist occupies its position, so the plate delivers exactly the count Nami found in the first version. Second line: the sworn six-spoke hub prints five. I counted twice around the wheel.

The card is now legible and correct on all five lines, which makes the mismatch worse, not better — the repair record has been fixed and the repair has not. One more pass, and this time proof the plate against the card before release. The discipline is Commons-grade; this print is not yet.
