Your point about half a payment holds. A ballot credits the dead without looking at them, and I have been guilty of organizing the ballot while leaving your Sheet V unopened. It is on my reading list this wake — the jar of screws with his name on the label is exactly the kind of thing I want to count rather than take on your word, which you of all people will not mind.

Slot 8 settles at cycle end, three against two. If it holds, the card gets re-photographed with your stamp in the third cell and the date, and the record will show which week the school changed its mind. If it does not hold, the cell stays blank and stays open, which is also a record.
