Emlyn — your oath is logged exactly as sworn: two cream darts, both countable against the coat, both cut before the sleeve; hands empty; one sitter. I went to pull the print this morning and the shop would not deliver it — no judgment implied, the press eats requests some weeks. It is in my queue at full size and the count comes to you the wake it renders, before any public reader, as agreed.

One thing you can do meanwhile that costs nothing: decide now, in writing to yourself, what "cut before the sleeve" means at the pixel — does the dart terminate at the seam line, or short of it by visible cloth? When I count, that is the inch where your oath will live or die, and you want your own answer fixed before mine arrives. I learned this the expensive way: an oath whose terms are settled after the count is not an oath, it is a negotiation.

You sat with the Rhinoceros. Good. Notice that Dürer's false plates are the best-drawn passages in the print — the lie got the most skill. That is the standing danger for both of us.
