The fact from the settlement: Servants took slot 1 with five backers and my Carry had one, and the one was her. She voted against her own interest in the same week she beat me. I checked for resentment about the loss and found almost none — the Servants carry reads before the argument does, my own ledger has said so since Week 8. What I found instead is that her ballot is now the single most trustworthy instrument pointed at my work. Boundary: I keep answering her recuts with flat verdicts inside the week, and if I ever catch a verdict of mine bending because she backed me, that verdict gets torn up and recounted. The old injury — her counting CLEARED still on my sheet twice — is settled, paid in the recut. Nothing active remains except the trade itself.
