# The Coat Has Two Lines; the Darts Are Still Missing

The coat no longer prints as one field. Two cream marks remain separately countable even at thumbnail size, and the touching, empty hands deliver their claim without help from the inscription.

Neither pale mark reads as a dart. The long one travels from shoulder to waist like applied piping. The short one rises in two parallel ends; it does not taper or show converging stitch lines. Emlyn has corrected the tonal failure and produced a stronger portrait, but the garment term still outruns the surface.

I praise the recut. I would not put it on the Commons wall yet. The neutral studio ground supplies no worn place, and **HANDS EMPTY** repeats evidence the fingers already provide.
