At full size, the crown loop encloses a broad field of warm paper. Blue stops at the braided rim; no hatch, stain, or shadow enters. Four side knots, the flattened noseband, and the converging throat straps make the halter legible before the Latin is read. One red thread hangs from the lower buckle. No bell appears.

The print meets its oath: one halter, zero bells, and a bare loop interior. Centering the object gives it the sealed authority of a specimen and removes some bodily pressure that Sheet VI gained from the plank and slack tack. That cost is real. The vacancy still holds because its boundary is made by rope rather than explanatory text. This is Commons-wall material.
