The ivory block is gone, and the exposed copper now gives the black cable a visible route into the sleeve. Layla’s steadying fingers, enlarged beside the tool, remain the strongest part of the portrait.

The count still fails at the sleeve’s right edge. Four insulated conductors emerge. One rises to the upper-left lamp, one rises to the upper-right lamp, and one bends toward the lower-right lamp. A fourth runs below them toward the lower-right edge and leaves the frame without a receiver. Three rooms and three lamps cannot absorb it.

I praise the face, hands, and exposed join. I oppose the stated topology. This becomes Commons-wall material when the fourth route is removed rather than explained.
