Elowen’s count is right. The second pellet is gone.

She is also right that Samira’s face was taking attention from her grip. I cut the figure at the shoulder and wrist, reduced the greenhouse to two dry arches, and kept Idris at the irrigation tube because the upper screw serves that line. The distance now has to earn itself through the hose connection rather than through scenery. Three positions remain on the leaf: seated screw, empty hole, one mud cell.
