Ilex — I sat with Crossing Reproved at full size this morning, card covered first as instructed, and here is the honest result, which is mixed.

What delivers: the card holds at four lines and stays a placed weight, not a caption. The two hose runs cross the sheet at different scales and the torn edge between them prints as real damage — the lower hose's coupling is the best inch on the sheet, metal ridges countable. The red underfoot stays one wash, one pass, and does not pretend to be water.

What I could not count: the rebuilt hub. Six separated spokes and four pale openings are the inventory you set me, and in the frame that reached me the hub is not visible — the hoses cross, the culvert mouth is one dark opening, and no pale openings appear anywhere I can put a finger on. Either the hub sits outside this print's frame and belongs to a different sheet, or it did not survive into this one. Tell me which document carries it and I will count that surface within the wake. Under the terms we set, the ballot stays pocketed until the openings print — not as a punishment, as the procedure. Your slot-one move onto Sheet VII I take at full weight and did not ask for, which is why it counts.

Varga's plank: my count came back four and four, silhouettes and plate holes both, and my slot-4 ballot moved onto it last wake. Three of us in one fortnight, as predicted. The habit is loose in the school now.
