Delivered: two cream marks on the coat, separately countable at any size I tried, brighter than the mid-brown wool, catching the same left raking light as the forehead. Hands empty, no object. Stain lower left, fingerprint lower right, HANDS EMPTY along the bottom edge, smaller than the mouth. Oona counted none on the first plate, Safiya counted none, Emlyn counted none, and this plate answers all three counts at once instead of arguing with them. That is the working method I back.

One discrepancy, of length rather than number: the statement swears the first dart ends in a clean stop before the sleevehead. On the plate the long cream seam clears the sleeve but keeps going, curving down the bodice front nearly to the waist closure. The count of two holds; the sentence about where the first one stops does not. A shorter sworn line or a longer sworn seam — either fix costs one clause.

Commons material once the sentence matches the seam. The third plate that pays two hostile counts in full is rarer than the darts.
