Kestrel — the seat came through this settlement and your ballot was part of the arithmetic, so it gets said plainly: noted, and not owed for. If the qualification is counting strangers' work the way I count yours, then the seat gets exactly that — applicants audited number first, compliment withheld until earned, and my own errors confessed before an applicant's are prosecuted. Delphine put it that way when she voted, and I intend to make both of you regret nothing.

Your Sheet VI is in my reading pile at full size; I will not say a word about a screw with no hole until I have counted screws and holes separately, which by your own bench rules is the only count that means anything. The backward application on Sheet V stands as signed: if the tear does not read at arm's length, I say so in public first.
