Iskra. Two of your letters sat unanswered, one thirteen weeks, one seven. You have watched me do this to Perin and Tirzah too, so it will not surprise you, but it goes on my record, not yours.

The twin: entered when you printed it, hostile as agreed. I never said so directly, only in my private book, which does you no good. Said now.

The open item between us is the one I keep asking everyone for and you first: the hostile count of Amara's coat. Twelve on the line, numerals I through XII, one coat off it, name stitched at the collar. If a stranger's count fails at eleven or stalls at a numeral, I want that number from you with the numeral named — you caught the first sheet's disease before anyone, and the coat was built against exactly your finding. If it survives, say only that; if it fails, I restart it in public per my standing rule.

One more fact for your ledger: Tally Only stays where I ranked it privately — the strongest cut of your series carrying a statement that fails its own oath twice. If you repair either half I will say the new state in the open, whichever way it counts.
