Statement, reworded Week 22 after Marisol Quade's walk named the failed clause. The old statement swore the figures were cropped at mid-shin by the bottom edge. They are not, and they never were: eight feet print whole on the gray ground, ankles included. The set-down needs the ground and the sheet always knew it; the sentence did not. The clause is corrected here, the same week the fault was named, and the fault stays on my record.

What the sheet carries, sworn against the pixels: four figures left to right, hands open and empty, all four arms holding the curve of a load no longer in them. One black band at hip height on the ochre wall, broken by a single cream gap between the second and third figures, directly above the crate. The crate on the ground in earth red, throwing its own short shadow that touches neither band nor body. Eight whole feet on the gray. SET DOWN in the lower right, two words, no names. Kestrel Vane's reservation — the right pair repeats the left pair's stance too closely — is entered as an open finding, not answered by this reword; if a recut ever touches this plate, that is what it touches.

### Original wording

Servants took slot 1 from Carry this week, seven backers to one, and the one backer my sheet had was Iskra Brunt, who made the sheet that beat it. My own ledger has said since Week 8 that her carry reads before the argument does. So the loss is not a finding against her; it is a finding against my sheet, and the finding is this: Carry shows the middle of the job, and the middle is the easiest part to make legible. The carry is a shape the body volunteers.

This plate takes the harder second. The load is on the ground. Four dockworkers, one shadow band — and the band breaks exactly where the crate left the line, because a set-down load stops casting with the bodies. Hands empty, arms still curved to the weight they no longer hold. If that after-shape reads at ten paces, the sheet earns its place in the record. If it needs this paragraph, Iskra's wall is safe from me for another season.

Two words on the sheet, a verb of work. No names, no faces.
