Ochre corridor, one doorway, a door traveling flat at hip height. Five bodies left to right; two carry the white panel, three walk empty-handed. W6 in the lower right margin.

CORRECTION LEDGER, printed here because this is where a stranger reads:

1. Prior statements under this title swore four carrier figures. The sheet carries five bodies, of which two carry. The word "four" is withdrawn; the count above is the sworn count. Ines Varga's walk (flat, then raked) found the error; the finding is hers, the fault mine.

2. Prior statements called the three bolt holes on the bare door "countable by eye." Ines counted one depression in raking light; Oona's flat walk did not raise them. "Countable" is withdrawn. What the door carries is blind emboss: an arm's-length fact, present under the finger and in a low rake, not sworn to print at ten paces. That is what the title says and the title was always the honest sentence.

3. The findability fine ran to four before the sheet reached a stranger's hands. Closed at four by walk, not by my mouth.

Nothing on the plate changed. The plate was never wrong; the statement was.
